In San Vigilio di Marebbe, in the heart of the Val Badia valley, we – Walter and Karin – warmly welcome you to our two ground-floor holiday apartments at Apartments Angela.
Surrounded by the magnificent Dolomites, the wide plateaus of Sennes and Fanes, and the enchanting Rautal Valley, this is a place where nature reveals a very special kind of beauty. The landscape is steeped in ancient Ladin legends and reflects the unique history and traditions of this valley. Together with Val Gardena, Val Badia is one of the South Tyrolean valleys where the Ladin language and culture remain very much alive today.
In winter, Kronplatz awaits you – one of South Tyrol’s best-known and most modern ski areas, offering perfectly groomed slopes and breathtaking views of the Alps and Dolomites.
During the warmer months, countless hiking and cycling trails lead through the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Whether you are looking for outdoor adventures or simply want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, San Vigilio is the perfect place for a relaxing break at any time of year.
In 1970, Angela and Anselmo built their family home here. Soon afterwards, they began renting out a few rooms to holiday guests. Hospitality quickly became part of everyday family life, and on many occasions Angela and Anselmo even welcomed guests into their own private living spaces.
As a young woman, Angela had trained as a cook in Val Gardena. She later devoted herself with great passion and warmth to looking after her guests. In the spacious and cosy traditional living room, she served homemade dishes and traditional Ladin specialities, creating fond memories for many of her guests.
In the 1990s, the guest rooms were converted into holiday apartments for the first time. Angela nevertheless continued to cook for her guests – much to their delight.
Since 2025, their son Walter and his wife Karin have continued the family tradition and now run the apartments. With the same spirit of hospitality, we aim to offer our guests a wonderful holiday, relaxing days and a pleasant break from everyday life.

Entrance area
In the entrance area, you will find several practical facilities for your stay, including a ski boot dryer, ski storage, a washing machine, waste-sorting bins, and cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products.
A small selection of games is also available for relaxing moments.
Guests can also use a SodaStream free of charge.
ACTIVITIES „ci ponpa fa?“
Summer
The public bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from our apartments. With your Guest Pass, you can use public transport free of charge and conveniently reach Furcia Pass or Pederü.
From Furcia Pass, you can hike up Piz da Peres, San Vigilio’s local mountain. Pederü, on the other hand, is the perfect starting point for beautiful hikes to the mountain pastures and plateaus of Sennes, Fanes and Lavarella.
You can also easily reach Spiaggetta Ciamaor, a lovely recreational area along the stream that is especially popular with families and children.
Another highlight is the beautiful Rautal Valley, which stretches for around 12 km from San Vigilio to Pederü. Its peaceful and unspoilt natural surroundings are perfect for walks, hikes and bike rides.
Winter
The Miara ski lift is just a 5-minute walk from our apartments and takes you directly into the Kronplatz ski area, with its extensive network of perfectly groomed slopes.
With the ski lifts practically on your doorstep, you can simply leave your car parked throughout your skiing holiday.
The ski bus stop is also located directly at the Miara lift and takes you to the San Vigilio–Pederü cross-country ski trail in just a few minutes.

Tourist tax: €2.70 per person per night from the age of 14
Final cleaning: €50 for the Miara apartment, €70 for the Erta apartment
Payment can be made on site in cash or by bank transfer.
Bed linen is included in your stay and is provided by us.
We kindly ask you to bring your own hand and bath towels. Alternatively, we are happy to provide a towel set for €10 per person.
Pets are allowed only upon prior request.
A fee of €70 per pet, per stay applies.
Please observe the following rules:
Pets must not be left alone in the apartment and are not allowed to sleep or lie on the beds or sofa.
They must be house-trained and must not damage the furnishings. This includes scratching doors, furniture or floors, as well as damaging curtains or other items in the apartment.
If these rules cannot be guaranteed, unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated.
Free Wi-Fi is available in all apartments
The tap water is top-quality spring water, so you don't need to buy water in glass or plastic bottles. In addition, a SodaStream is available to you free of charge.
Free private parking is available directly at the property.
Electric vehicles cannot currently be charged on-site. However, a public EV charging station is located only about 100 metres away.
In winter, a ski rack and ski boot dryer are available in the entrance area.
A baby cot is available free of charge upon request.
Our apartments feature a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, satellite TV, heating, and controlled mechanical ventilation.
The washing machine in the entrance area is available for an additional fee.
Please note that there is no oven or microwave.
The Erta apartment features a small south-facing terrace with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
Directly in front of the Miara apartment, there is a small south-facing outdoor seating area.
The minimum stay is generally 3 nights and may vary depending on the season.
Up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation
From 13 days before arrival and in case of a no-show: the deposit paid will be retained.
During your stay, you will receive the Südtirol Guest Pass, giving you access to a range of benefits throughout South Tyrol.
- The Guest Pass is issued by us at check-in and is valid from the day of arrival up to and including the day of departure.
- With the Guest Pass, you can use südtirolmobil public transport free of charge, including regional buses, regional trains and selected public cable cars.
- Depending on the holiday region, additional services and discounts may also be included.
- Children under the age of 6 do not need a Guest Pass and travel free of charge on public transport when accompanied by an adult.
- The Guest Pass must be validated using the QR code at the start of each journey.
